Xtratec's Machines

Our machine workshop can do repetitious machining to your requirements. We have four fully automatic lathes capable of runs of 1000 - 100,000 off, or as many per month as your business may require.

The lathes have the capacity of up to 13mm in diameter but also square & hexagonal shaped material. They are mechanical fast repetitious lathes, in some cases faster than CNC.

Ideal machines to make small pins or fittings, perfect to part off & de-burr short lengths of tubbing. Another contract we have done is to produce thousands of Brass thermo coupler crimps, from 5/16 square Brass.

Overseas Manufacturing and Product Sourcing

We are an Australian Company and proud of it, but as we go forward some products and manufacturing processes are not feasible to be made here in Australia, due to our higher material costs, wages, trucking and insurances etc.

From travel into China, we have established great relations with a Sister Company. From this relationship we have access to a huge range of products & manufacturing.

For our customers here in Australia, we can take the hard work & logistics, cost of travel and language barriers out of doing business with China. Our business partners speak fluent Mandarin, Cantonese and English, all vital to conducting successful business between Australia and China North to South.

We can source particular products for you, or have items made to your drawings, or copied from your samples. They specialise in large runs of products. The quality is high as we only deal with reputable Companies. Turn around time is fast. In our experience, door-to-door China to Australia, is often quicker than producing here in Australia. You supply a drawing or sample, we then have test samples made for you, before you commit to an order. If tooling is necessary, 50% of tooling cost may need to be payed before samples are made. However tooling cost is substantially cheaper than here in Australia.
